Announcing our BRAND NEW Locations!

Dear Friend of Life,

Please give a warm PRO-LIFE welcome to our BRAND NEW SidewalkAdvocates for Life locations!

The following cities started their sidewalk advocacy program around January 1st, peacefully offering loving, life-affirming alternatives to women and men entering their local abortion facility…

  • Anchorage, AK
  • Clearlake, CA
  • Johnstown, PA
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Los Angeles (Santa Monica), CA
  • Mission Hills, CA
  • Montclair, NJ
  • Pomona, CA
  • Wareham, MA

…and international location: Buea, Cameroon!

These locations join our existing locations who are continuing their program!

Total, we are currently at 103 participating Sidewalk Advocates for Life locations!  Praise God!

If you live near one of these locations, you might consider attending a local training and becoming an active Sidewalk Advocate, offering loving, life-affirming alternatives to women and men entering the abortion center.  The spirit is peaceful and the effectiveness of this method is undeniable — simply because it’s based in sharing the love of Christ!

Details on how to get involved in your local Sidewalk Advocates for Life program are found in the LOCATIONS tab on our main website:http://sidewalkadvocates.org/locations/ — click on your closest location and see contact info for the local program.  (Note: We are still in the process of uploading all these locations to the web; if you do not see your location, check back in a few days!)

What if you don’t have a location near you?

Consider bringing a Sidewalk Advocates for Life Sidewalk Advocacy program to your local community very soon!  Applications will re-open February 1-28!  Be sure to visit our website for more details: www.sidewalkadvocates.org.

Let us know if you have any questions!  In the meantime, we ask you to keep all of our new and existing locations in your prayers, that many lives continue to be saved and many hearts transformed by the grace and power of God’s love!

It is our prayer that no abortion facility in America and beyond goes without peaceful, loving, well-trained sidewalk counselors.  Thank you, friends, for joining us in this incredibly important mission to transform hearts, save lives and end abortion!

Blessings,

P.S. — Many of you have asked for an update in our Winter financial campaign to keep our ministry going and growing.  We’re currently at 33% of goal — with the hope that we can cross the finish line as soon as possible as we earnestly work to cover every abortion facility with a peaceful, effective sidewalk advocacyprogram. Will you help us with a gift of $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000 to keep this life-saving work afloat? (Sidewalk Advocates for Life is a 501c3 non-profit organization, so any financial gift you make is tax-deductible!)  We humbly ask for your help and partnership so we can reach our goal for this great mission: sidewalkadvocates.org/donate …THANK YOU!

Stay posted on our progress on our homepage at sidewalkadvocates.org!  Thanks again so much!

DEVOTIONAL (January 1 – January 14, 2017): “The New Has Come”

by Jenna Scott, Program Administrator, Sidewalk Advocates for Life

Verses: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Reflection: Now is the time of year that everyone is making New Years’ resolutions. We are all looking for ways to better ourselves — lose weight, be more financially responsible, volunteer more… the list goes on and on.

But it is important that the most important change that could ever happen is belonging to Christ. We became new and we became His. This is not to say that we don’t have our own struggles to work through still, but it means that Christ has already conquered our biggest faults through His blood on the cross. Our old selves and old ways we once held onto have been made new through Christ.

So when we make our resolutions, let’s make them in a way that honors God and is ordered towards claiming that new self Christ has already claimed with his new creation.

Let us pray: Lord, as we enter a new year, help us remember to put you first this year. Help guide us towards bettering ourselves in service of your Kingdom. Show us the way to help protect and serve those who need us the most. Give us the words to minister to the women-in-crisis. Help us spend this new year with our focus on you.

Thank you, Lord, for all the gifts you have already given us, including the beauty of your new creation through our relationship with you. Help us make the most of our gifts by using them in a way that glorifies you and serves your people. Amen.
