Susan O’Neill

Senior Regional Programs Manager

Susan O’Neill serves as a Senior Regional Programs Manager for Sidewalk Advocates for Life, advising sidewalk advocacy teams serving in the eastern region United States.

Susan is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Psychology.

Susan has served on the Sidewalk Advocates for Life National Team since 2016. Before joining the National Team, Susan started and directed a SAFL location in the southeast. Her previous pro-life activities include sidewalk advocacy, working with local pregnancy resource centers, and participating in 40 Days for Life campaigns. 

Susan resides with her husband, three children, and an assortment of pets in Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and gardening.

Facilities closed: 

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit: 

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

 

Hopeful saves: 

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

 

Babies saved: 

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
