Gillian Evans

Social Media & Events Coordinator

As Social Media & Events Coordinator, Gillian shares Sidewalk Advocates for Life’s mission across multiple digital platforms and coordinates our teams at in-person conferences and events.

Gillian grew up pro-life, but it wasn’t until she was faced with an unexpected pregnancy at the age of 20 that she experienced the true beauty and breadth of the pro-life movement — how the offer of free resources, guidance, and mentorship can be truly life-changing. After she and her husband were served by the local pregnancy resource center, she continued to volunteer and advocate for the pro-life movement in her community.

Gillian graduated summa cum laude and with honors in 2017 from Missouri Western State University with her degree in Communications. After school, she advanced Christian, pro-life efforts and organizations through teaching, social media marketing, and online advertising. In 2023 she professionally joined the pro-life movement as the Missouri Her PLAN Coordinator, a project of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, working to fill the gaps of care for women and their families across the state. After relocating to Florida with an open heart for her next pro-life opportunity, Gillian joined the SAFL National Team. She has been on staff with SAFL for 2 years now!

Gillian and her husband, Zach, have been married for 11 years and they have three children. She loves reading, thrifting, and antiquing. When she’s not volunteering at the pregnancy center, her Embrace Grace group, or at church, you’ll catch her bumming it at the beach with the family! Gillian and Zach have started the process to become foster parents as well, but a recent move to Tennessee has postponed this a bit!

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
