“Lift up your voice like a trumpet.” – Isaiah 58:1

Speaking out against the atrocities that happened at their clinics is especially terrifying for former abortion workers. We risk self-incrimination, harsh judgment from pro-lifers, and retaliation from former coworkers, but it’s something many of us feel compelled to do to make abortion unthinkable, and it’s a necessary part of our healing process.

Three incredibly brave women from North Carolina risked all of that by filing a Nursing Board complaint against their former clinic. Daily Wire wrote an exclusive feature about the complaint and lack of disciplinary action from the state. While the complaint was dismissed despite photographic evidence, their former clinic closed its doors forever last month! Sidewalk Advocates for Life invited those three Quitters to speak at the closing prayer rally outside of that very clinic accompanied by ATTWN Lead Client Manager, Nichola. Their powerful testimonies, poise, and confidence in the forgiveness of Christ moved the audience, and we know their stories aren’t finished yet. Two of those Quitters, Alicia and Vanessa, have been previously featured as Quitters of the Month.

After seeing and hearing her clients speak about their experiences publicly for the first time, Nichola had this to say: “We don’t always see the effect of our prayers in the pro-life movement, but this isn’t why we do the work that we do. We show up because Christ has called us to be obedient and serve in faith, hope, and love. We know that clinics are struggling, understaffed, failing inspection reports, and more, but it’s extra encouraging to stand outside a once-open clinic where babies will no longer lose their lives and women will no longer be harmed. Glory be to God!”

Thank you for helping these vital stories rise above the noise to spread TRUTH and LOVE over the lies. Your continued support of this ministry is drawing more workers to quit the abortion industry and leading them into the light of Christ.

Until there are none,
Abby

Stay tuned for Sidewalk Advocate for Life’s video featuring the closing of the Charlotte abortion facility!

Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
