God Is At Work. Just Try to Change Our Mind.

If you are ever unsure how God is at work in our culture, spend a day on the sidewalk. From sorrow to saves, we’ve seen it all … from small reminders of His grace to miraculous examples of His providence. Like last year in Ohio …

Cincinnati Right to Life, who leads the local Sidewalk Advocates team, moved from their previous location of more than 30 years to a new office building one block away from the Planned Parenthood facility. This Planned Parenthood is as an abortion destination for surrounding states, aborting an estimated 80 babies per week up to 22 weeks gestation.

Our presence there is crucial, and now our Advocates are mere steps away from Planned Parenthood to offer free resources filled with love, help, and support… and there “just happens” to be TWO pregnancy centers right across the street to serve the women and families our Advocates meet on the sidewalk.

But it gets better– Planned Parenthood was also trying to buy this same office building, but instead Cincinnati Right to Life was able to secure the sale. AND after moving in, the RTL staff learned something very interesting about this building’s history. From 1964 to 1989, this very building was occupied by Planned Parenthood!

What was once a place of death is now serving as the city’s headquarters for life, for hope, and truth. He is redeeming the years that were lost. Only God could write this kind of story.

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
