Dear Friends,
Our peaceful, prayerful, law-abiding outreach outside abortion and abortion-referral facilities makes people angry. Like … really angry.
And it’s nothing to do with us, but what we represent. The truth they don’t want to face. The truth about abortion:
- That in the last year alone 1,125,930 lives were lost to abortion, and countless hearts were broken and souls endangered by this loss.
- That abortion giant Planned Parenthood raised over a billion dollars to support its industry of death, and millions more were spent ushering women across state lines to kill their children.
- That DIY abortions have invaded our homes, creating haunting scenes of preborn children dying in our bathrooms and mothers in life-threatening danger.
While facing this truth can spark hostility and even violence, another truth can truly break open hearts and transform souls: The love and hope of Christ …
- That has saved nearly 26,000 babies from the tragedy of abortion through the intervention of a Sidewalk Advocate;
- That has converted the hearts of 109 abortion workers who quit, including 3 workers just this past month!
- That has led to the closure of 71 abortion and abortion-referral facilities, plus one more scheduled to close next week!
But friends, these numbers — no matter how awe-inspiring — are not the real face of Christ’s love. Rather it’s a father’s joy when he finds the help and support he and the mother of his child need to choose life. It’s a Sidewalk Advocate blessed to be at the birth of a child she helped save. It’s the excitement of a young girl when she sees an ultrasound photo of her little sister who was almost lost to abortion. It’s the text from a mom we helped years earlier on the sidewalk, sharing a photo of her son smiling.
