We are officially a POST-ROE AMERICA!

A personal note from our Founder, President & CEO:

Dear Friends,

The miraculous day that we’ve all been praying and working for is finally here: ROE V. WADE HAS BEEN OVERTURNED. We are officially a Post-Roe America!!

Yes, we expect the abortion rate in our country to drop, but a word of great CAUTION: Just because Roe is gone, it DOES NOT mean abortion is. Abortion will now be sent back to the states, and YOUR state law will govern abortion within your state.

We expect 13 states, due to “trigger bans,” to outlaw abortion completely. The rest of the states are far more nuanced than that — and that’s why Sidewalk Advocates for Life and the pro-life movement still have work to do.

Even in states where abortion is completely illegal, we expect the role of “abortion-referral facilities” to pick up: Planned Parenthood will still have facilities in these states to sell abortion and refer women across state lines. Sidewalk Advocates are still desperately needed at these locations to connect women with pregnancy resource centers and other life-affirming resources before they make the trek to their next nearest abortion facility.

In other states, abortion will be legal in limited circumstances or legal until the point of birth, so our work will not change in these states.

Below is a graphic that shows what we expect among the various states. (Click on the map to see further information about abortion laws.)

In other words, the mission of Sidewalk Advocates for Life does not change — it just SHIFTS. We will not rest until peaceful, well-trained advocates are in front of every abortion and abortion-referral facility, and every mother has a chance to hear the good news of resources and options, thereby saving more and more preborn children and gradually ending abortion in every community.

While we have this momentum, we cannot give up: Join us today in this great mission to save lives and END ABORTION in a Post-Roe America!

GLORY TO GOD!!

In Christ, for Life,

Lauren Muzyka, Esq.

Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
