Dear Friend of Life:
This season, we celebrate, “Emmanuel” — God is with us! Our loving Creator and Father who first became one of us as an embryo in order to bring us back to Himself. What an incredible thought!
It’s that spirit — the Lord meeting us where we were at in order to save us — that we take to the sidewalk each time.
Our Sidewalk Advocates continue to head out to abortion facilities all over the world in order to “meet others where they’re at” and love them into a decision for LIFE. Whether it’s the eviction notice, the partner who left her, the parents who want to disown her, the trauma of a rape situation or the empty bank account, we are there to stand in the gap, speak words of peace into her life, and let her know that her life and the life within her is precious. We let her know that we are with her, and God is with her. She is not alone.
Quite often it’s that peaceful, prayerful presence that makes all the difference and helps a mother choose life for herself and her little one.
This Christmas season, we will be praising God for all he has done in the past 8.5 months…
- 350 babies saved
- 127 hopefuls
- 10 workers who have left
- countless conversations about chastity, pro-life healthcare alternatives and post-abortion healing
And we will be praising God for the gift of you!
Thank you again for all of the prayers and support you give Sidewalk Advocates for Lifeas we seek to transform hearts and save lives through peaceful Sidewalk Advocacy at abortion facilities all around the United States and beyond!

WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL (DECEMBER 14, 2014 – JANUARY 3, 2015): “DO NOT BE AFRAID”
by Jeff Reedy, Shipping Coordinator & DFW LIFE Runners Co-Leader, Sidewalk Advocates for Life
Verse(s): “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” — Luke 2:10
Reflection: Happy Advent and Merry Christmas to all of you! May God bless you richly this Christmas season.
It is very easy to be overwhelmed with bad news since we receive it through every media source every day.
But as Luke 2:10 reminds us, we should not be afraid. Because the same tidings of great joy that the angel announced to those shepherds applies to us today. We are part of “all people” that it refers to.
The fact that Mary said YES to life 2,000 years ago means we have immense hope for our lives today. May that great joy dwell in your heart and in your family throughout this holiday season!
May God richly bless you and your family!
Have a great Christmas season and a happy new year!
Faith Challenge: Set aside some time to think about the fact that this one event in history — God becoming one of us — meant that He first came to us as an embryo! What a humbling thought. Meditate on how you can become more present to those around you …especially to women in unplanned or crisis pregnancies, headed into your local abortion facility.
