On the first abortion day of the new year, a woman headed into Planned Parenthood. She left 45 minutes later after receiving an ultrasound. When she exited, she rolled down her window to accept a pregnancy-help pamphlet from a Sidewalk Advocate. He offered to take her to the nearby pregnancy resource center to receive another free ultrasound and ensure she received all the relevant information to make her decision (including hearing the baby’s heartbeat!). And God be praised: she chose life!
We received word from the pregnancy help center that she later returned with her boyfriend to confirm their decision to keep their baby. In tears, they expressed how thankful they were to receive all the help offered.
And that wasn’t the only blessing that day!! Four more women left the abortion facility, agreeing to consider the help offered by the pregnancy resource center. And another man agreed to go into the abortion facility to talk to his girlfriend about their options. We will continue to carry all these parents and their babies in prayer!
What a blessed beginning to the new year!
