A Simple Question Has Been Haunting Us …

Special Message from our Founder, President & CEO:

Dear Friend of Life,

Can I share something from the depths of my heart with you?

There’s a simple question that’s been haunting me lately … WHAT IF?

Sidewalk Advocates for Life currently covers about 35% of all U.S. abortion and abortion-referral centers.  That means that mothers in crisis walking into those facilities will be met on the sidewalk — just before they head in to prospectively take the life of their child — with help, hope, options, and resources.

But there are still about 490 facilities across our nation with no one there.

And what haunts me is: WHAT IF we had been there?

A mother may have been spared trauma and a lifetime of regret.

A child may have lived.

A family tree would have been changed for the better for generations to come.

In short, it feels so wrong that the difference between life and death — and the ripple effect across generations — is whether or not we could be there.

So, the next logical question is … how do we cover all these facilities with well-trained Sidewalk Advocates so that no mother enters without a chance to make a different decision and save the life of her child?

To be transparent, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has the ability to cover all approximately 777 facilities across the nation — the only thing holding us back is funding.

Don’t get me wrong: Your support has helped us to grow to cover 282 facilities across the U.S. — and that’s miraculous and remarkable.  Still, I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to rest here!

If we had additional financial support, we could instantly hire sidewalk metro coordinators in 19 cities — cities that boast large numbers of abortion centers and hold 50% of the nation’s abortion rate — and plant volunteer leaders at the rest.  It really IS that simple.

At Sidewalk Advocates for Life, we are continually humbled by the realization that we can’t achieve our mission alone. We NEED your help and partnership to accomplish this massive, essential mission for life.

But, here’s a really simple thing you can do TODAY to help make this possible: A group of generous ministry partners who believe in this mission came together to offer us a $250,000 matching challenge.  At deadline last week, we didn’t make it.  However, gratefully, they granted us a one-time extension through April 23.

Knowing what’s at stake, we cannot leave any of these desperately-needed matching funds on the table.  At this moment, we sit at 38% of goal — can you help us with a gift RIGHT NOW to give us a much-needed boost towards victory?

Here’s the link to help and make a life-saving, tax-deductible gift of any amount: sidewalkadvocates.org/donate

Thank you for allowing me to share my heart with you, our dear partner in this great mission.  We know that, with God, all things are possible, and I’m standing in faith today that somehow we will make this goal and be able to cover dozens more abortion facilities for His glory, for the sake of lives and souls.  For whatever you can do today, just know I’ll be whispering a prayer of thanksgiving!

In Christ, for Life,

Lauren Muzyka, Esq.

Your continued support is essential in our mission to bring light to those in the darkest of places. Please consider making a donation here to help us expand our reach and cover even more facilities across the nation. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of those we serve (and will be doubled thanks to a matching donation through April 23!). Thank you for your generosity and unwavering support.

Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
