Dear Friend of Life,
In only 22 short months since Sidewalk Advocates for Life began, we are already so humbled and amazed by what the Lord has done. There have been over 1,100 lives saved from abortion — that we know of. Abortion facilities are cutting their hours and even closing their doors for good. The program has continued to grow and currently, we have 80 locations around the globe! (Find your nearest location HERE.)
The Holy Spirit has been able to translate the program to international settings, as well. There are now locations with trained Sidewalk Advocates in Australia, Canada, Romania, and Fiji!
In fact, we just received this photo of our newly-trained Sidewalk Advocates (who are also LIFE Runners) in Fiji — how beautiful to see God’s people answering the call to be a light to women-in-crisis around the world!
The blessings continue to flow! This next picture below was sent to us by Gary, our Program Director in Vestal, NY. Sidewalk Advocates were on the sidewalk one day, praying and reaching out to women at the local abortion facility, when Tanya arrived. Our Sidewalk Advocates spoke with her, and Tanya chose life!
She gave us permission to share this picture of her precious son, Jahmir James (“JJ”), in hopes that other lives could be saved.
This is why we do what we do. Many times, our Sidewalk Advocates have no idea what impact they had that day on the sidewalk. However, when we look upon the sweet face of this child — created in the image and likeness of God Almighty — our hearts are full. Jahmir was almost another statistic; however, through faithful Sidewalk Advocates saying “YES” and being present on the sidewalk, the Holy Spirit moved, and JJ was saved. To God be the Glory!
I want to encourage you: even if you aren’t seeing these results personally right now, know that the Lord is faithful. He is blessing your efforts — and one day, you will reap the harvest. When you look at precious Jahmir’s picture, understand that your sacrifice is worth it — even if you don’t see the fruit right away. The world is now forever changed because he is in it. The world is forever changed when you and I say YES to God!
