What a whirlwind of a year it has been!

I cannot believe that it will be October in just a few short days. It’s my favorite time of year, and I stand in awe of God’s artistry that is on full display for us all. It’s absolutely beautiful.

I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible work our Advocates are doing on the sidewalk. Showing up with compassion, courage, and truth is making a difference in the lives of women and families who desperately need hope. Every prayer lifted, every gentle word spoken, and every act of love offered is seen by the Lord, and it is planting seeds that will bear fruit for His kingdom. Our Advocates’ presence on the sidewalk is a testament to their faithfulness to stand in the gap where many lives hang in the balance.

Just recently, a young woman in Florida made the courageous decision to choose life for her baby. Because of the love, prayers, and presence of people like you, she was able to see another way forward, and about ten days ago, her sweet daughter was born!

Stories like this are a reminder that every moment on the sidewalk matters, and every “yes” to life changes the world. Every Advocate, every partner in prayer, every ministry supporter is a part of that life-changing, life-saving “Yes!”

Earlier this week, I was again reminded of the power of “yes” when I attended an important stakeholder meeting in Washington, D.C. (pictured above) with fellow pro-life leaders. It was a powerful time of prayer, collaboration, and sharing about what God is doing in this movement. Women and men from across the country gathered with one heart and one mission, and I left deeply encouraged by the unity, faith, and vision for the future that was so evident in the room. Friends, God is on the move!

As we look ahead, I ask you to continue in steadfast prayer for our shared mission to save lives. Important initiatives are being developed — initiatives that hold great potential to advance protections for the preborn and offer increased support for mothers in crisis. Your intercession is vital, as it undergirds every effort and ensures that we move forward not in our strength, but in God’s.

The sacrifices and dedication of everyone who volunteers and supports our sidewalk mission are part of a larger story God is writing. We are stronger together, and with His help, we will continue to see hearts changed and lives saved. Thank you for standing with us!

Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
