With God, All Things Are Possible

By God’s amazing grace and thanks to the support and sacrifice of so many, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has reached the remarkable milestone of helping save 25,000 lives from abortion!

In our 11 years, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has trained tens of thousands of individuals to become ambassadors for life outside their local abortion or abortion-referral facility, offering real help and hope to the women and families they encounter there. These dedicated volunteers regularly share the results of their outreach with SAFL’s National Team, who record the total number of lives saved throughout the U.S., as well as in Mexico and Colombia.

As of last Friday, that tally reached exactly 25,000 moms served and babies saved. President, CEO, and founder of Sidewalk Advocates for Life, Lauren Muzyka reflected on this amazing victory:

“Over the years, I have been privileged to hold many babies whose mothers chose life through God’s grace – and thanks to loving, prayerful Sidewalk Advocates who offered the support and local resources those women needed. I have heard from countless moms how thankful they are that there was a Sidewalk Advocate there for them that day. With God, all things are possible – so this amazing milestone isn’t exactly a surprise. But what a gift to realize that more than 25,000 children are alive and thriving today because we showed up on the sidewalk and reached out to pregnant moms in crisis.”

Emboldened by this miraculous moment, our teams of Advocates will continue to stand stalwart in the love of Christ, offering help and hope to abortion-vulnerable moms and their precious children. Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
