Dear Friend of Life —
On the sidewalk, we do our best to speak truth and peace into the lives of often very scared mothers considering abortion.
We open our own hearts to those who need hope, and we connect them to real help and resources in their uncertainty. Many times, that offer of hope and help leads to a decision for life, and we’re honored to journey with them as long as they need us.
Though there are thousands of lives and moments to celebrate, in our ministry, we’re also blessed to extend our love and help to those who chose abortion. We hear that, for many, the sense of emptiness and pain begins right after the procedure is complete. As she’s leaving the facility, we have a rare opportunity to offer a referral to a post-abortion healing program, to get her on the road to healing and wholeness in Christ as soon as possible.
I recently joined one of our dear partners and friends at Support After Abortion to discuss how Sidewalk Advocates for Life is not only working to save lives on the front end, but aiming to be a conduit of God’s love, mercy, and healing as soon as she leaves. We also discussed their upcoming, free, virtual healing conference!
