70 Abortion Workers Have Left …and An AMAZING Story!

Dear Friend of Life:

Did you know that, thanks to your past support of this ministry and God’s amazing grace, we have been able to help 70 abortion workers leave the industry and find new life in Christ?

Yes, when Sidewalk Advocates aren’t busy reaching out to mothers in need at the abortion facility, we use that additional time to reach out to the hurting, eternal souls working in the abortion business (many of whom have one or multiple abortions in their past) and let them know about the help available through our partner, And Then There Were None (ATTWN) abortion worker ministry.

In fact, Former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson  who started ATTWN several years ago  just let us know that over 60% of the workers coming to them are getting information from a Sidewalk Advocate.

WOW.

Friend, this ministry isn’t just saving lives …through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are impacting eternity for those in the abortion industry.

There’s something that has been rolling around in my heart the past 24 hours, and the Holy Spirit is tapping me on the shoulder to share it with you.  This is the quick story of the very first abortion worker who left…

At one of our locations in the Southeast, our local leaders, a married couple, reached out to their community and invited them to the Sidewalk Advocates for Life training.

A man who had been out on the sidewalk for years – and who had sometimes been aggressive towards abortion workers – decided to come.

Witnessing our loving, peaceful approach and taking in how effective it had already been in our short history, he told our leaders, “I’ve been doing this wrong.”

He decided to go out to the sidewalk with a new attitude and approach.  And he began to reach out to one of the workers with the abundant love of Christ.

They said that there was no one else that this worker was really bonding with except him.  It was such a powerful, simple friendship that developed, he even made her a birthday cake.

Finally, love broke through, and she made the decision to leave the industry and accept a referral to ATTWN.

On her last day at the abortion facility, she came out to the sidewalk and, one by one, hugged every Sidewalk Advocate, then stepped back, looked at them and said something I will never forget…

“Don’t stop doing what you’re doing.  Women are changing their minds!”

That let the Sidewalk Advocates in this community know that even though they were confirming regular victories on the sidewalk, there were so many more victories that had gone unseen.

This woman had so powerfully been transformed by the love of Christ, she embraced our Sidewalk Advocates, and she went on to accept hope and healing in Him.

Friend, this is what keeps echoing in my heart as we work towards our goal to cover 50% of all uncovered abortion facilities in the next several months:

Don’t stop doing what you’re doing, women are changing their minds.

With that powerful admonishment from an eternal soul who was forever changed by the power of His love, I know we have to keep going.

And I don’t want Sidewalk Advocates for Life to scrape by …I want to ensure we have the resources needed to get in front of as many abortion centers as soon as possible for His Glory.

In 6.5 years on the sidewalk, we’ve already seen nearly 12,000 babies saved, 70 workers who have left, and 23 facility closures.  With your help, we can continue to help save lives and impact eternal souls.

Will you stand with our Sidewalk Advocates on the front lines today and make a gift in our Fall Matching Fund Campaign?  (Right now, we’re about $49,000 short, so anything is a blessing!)

Here’s where you can make a tax-deductible gift of support of any amount: sidewalkadvocates.org/donate

We are very grateful for your consideration, support, and partnership in this great mission that is, by His grace, literally SAVING SOULS!  Thank you, dear friend for whatever you can do today to help us.

In Christ, for Life,

Lauren Muzyka
