Partnerships are critical to effective sidewalk advocacy. Principally, Sidewalk Advocates serve as a gateway to pregnancy help, post-abortion care, and abortion-worker outreach to ensure those entering and exiting abortion facilities are provided real help and hope.
Beyond our “gateway” partnerships, we are also blessed by relationships with organizations that mobilize the community of volunteers, ambassadors and advocates who are the lifeblood of the movement.
Among those organizations are three with whom we are thrilled to share a new opportunity: 40 Days for Life, Students for Life of America and Live Action. The new Pro-Life Partners Foundation has selected Sidewalk Advocates for Life, along with these three organizations, as beneficiaries of a 4-year matching
endowment fund.
As recognized by the Pro-Life Partners Foundation, our organizations share a collective mission to advance a culture of life and end abortion.
Praying for Life
Since the inception of Sidewalk Advocates for Life, our outreach has partnered with the global prayer presence established by 40 Days for Life. The foundation of sidewalk outreach is prayer, and many prayer volunteers want to do more on the sidewalk.
In response to that need, our founder Lauren Muzyka felt called to create a national program to equip communities to connect moms in crisis with the support and resources they need to choose life.
Inspiring Students
Students for Life of America has always been at the forefront of inspiring our young people. SFLA has networked with Sidewalk Advocates for Life to ensure that when students go out to their local abortion facility, they are not just powerful witnesses for life, but also compassionate and informed advocates for women facing crisis pregnancies.
Recently, Students for Life has also launched “The Campaign for Abortion Free Cities” of which Sidewalk Advocates for Life is a proud partner, helping equip cities with the training and tools needed to start and grow a sidewalk-outreach program.
Sharing the Truth
Live Action is a trailblazer in revealing the humanity of the preborn and uncovering the truth about the abortion industry. Sidewalk Advocates for Life is excited to work with Live Action to help prepare communities to not only share that truth with friends and family, but to also share the truth in love with abortion-vulnerable women and men.
The pro-life movement is enjoying a springtime of collaboration like never before — as grassroots organizations and ministries connect through national networks so we can speak with one effective and compassionate voice for the voiceless.
