While on the sidewalk, Adrianna waved to a young couple. The woman (we’ll call her “Diana”) only spoke Spanish, and Adrianna only spoke English. Through gestures and a pamphlet in Spanish, Adrianna was able to share pregnancy-help information and the risks of abortion. But the couple still went into the abortion facility.
While inside the facility, Diana’s mother called her from Colombia, telling her she had a dream that her daughter was in trouble. Diana shared where she was, and her mother urged her to leave the abortion facility and listen to the woman on the sidewalk! In contrast, the facility staff was pressuring her to make up her mind right then and there.
Despite these pressure tactics, Diana left the abortion facility and ultimately chose life! Sidewalk Advocates in partnership with local and national pregnancy-help organizations were able to provide Diana with the crisis-assistance she needed to welcome her sweet baby boy.
Adrianna remains in contact with Diana and her happy and healthy little boy. And the father — once unsure — is now deeply in love with his son. To God be the Glory!
