Meet A Family You Helped Save

Two years ago, a Spanish-speaking couple arrived at the abortion facility with their infant and two older children, intending to abort their fourth child. Using her phone’s translator, the Sidewalk Advocate was able to talk to the couple and learn their struggles – too many responsibilities, too little money, and fear of the future.

Thankfully, the parents agreed to visit the mobile ultrasound unit parked across the street. While the parents were inside, the Advocates entertained the couple’s children with games. Despite the language barrier, they shared so much joy with these little ones. And praise God, their parents chose life for their preborn little brother!

Two days later, our team brought the family clothing, toys, and groceries. Then, Advocates hosted a baby shower and remained by their side as they grew their family.

And now two years later, those same Advocates were invited to celebrate that sweet baby boy’s second birthday, where his dad expressed his deep gratitude:

“ Thank you for saving my family. I love them so much.”

Stories like this remind us why we can’t stop now. Right now, there are mothers standing outside abortion facilities, overwhelmed and believing they have no other choice. But together, we can be there for them — offering a path out of the darkness to abundant life!

You can help more families celebrate the blessing of new life with a gift here.  Plus, every donation made through April 2 will be matched to double your impact!

Facilities closed:

The permanent closure of an abortion or abortion-referral facility that had a Sidewalk Advocates for Life presence.

Workers who quit:

An abortion worker who was influenced by prayer and sidewalk advocacy to leave the business. We refer all workers to And Then There Were None, a ministry that assists abortion workers in transitioning out of the industry.

Hopeful saves:

A “hopeful save” is recorded when a pregnant woman leaves the abortion/abortion-referral facility still pregnant to “think about it,” armed with life-affirming literature and a referral to the local pregnancy resource center

Babies saved:

A baby is recorded as a “save” when a pregnant woman accepts our offer of help at the local pregnancy resource center (PRC), verbally shares that she has chosen life, or gives us very clear signs that she has chosen life.
