The spirit is peaceful and the effectiveness of this method is undeniable — simply because it’s based in sharing the love of Christ! Since April 1, we’ve witnessed 182 babies saved and 62 hopefuls by God’s grace!

Jude & Elisa serve as Co-Program Directors for Sidewalk Advocates for Life in Albuquerque, NM!
Executive Director, Lauren Muzyka, traveled to Albuquerque this past weekend to do an in-person training for a full room of new Sidewalk Advocates!
We asked local Co-Director, Jude, to share her experience with SAFL thus far, and this is what she shared…
1. Why did you decide to join SAFL?
I decided to join SAFL …because I saw a gap. We have a late-term abortion clinic that is thriving. Some days, the parking lot is FULL of cars with out-of-state license plates plus hotel shuttles dropping off visibly pregnant women, and I had no idea what I could do. I knew I had to do something! Then, I found SAFL.
2. What excites you most about the program?
The most exciting part of the program is the ongoing support. If I have any questions or need anything, I know the team is just a call away. It’s so reassuring to know that you’re not alone, someone is always there, and someone is always praying for you!
3. What’s the biggest blessing you’ve experienced so far?
So far, SAFL has been very flexible with our needs and is always going a step further to make sure that we are able to have this amazing program in our community.
Regarding the training this past weekend, Jude said, “Amazing day… Truly amazing. I’m still soaking it all in. Thank you to everyone who was there…”
4. What would you say to someone else considering the program?
Please, if you have the calling in your heart to sidewalk counsel, SAFL has all of the research done for you. I’ve never felt more empowered and confident to be out on the sidewalk and reach out to those entering the abortion clinic. Even clinic workers!

Reflection: No matter how messy things get in life, we are guaranteed — as followers of Christ — that if we submit all things to Him, He will make something beautiful out of ourdifficulties.
Here’s one example of that… I think back to Former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson’s exodus from the largest abortion provider in the country, Planned Parenthood. During her transition out, Planned Parenthood tried to sue her for speaking out against their pro-abortion operation. However, Planned Parenthood’s threats — ironically — ended up creating more media hurrah around her story and made Abby even more famous, permitting the truth of her journey to get out there faster and further than ever imagined.
The story became so popular that it was written down and published in a joint publishing venture through a couple of major Christian publishing houses. In fact, in the first 24 hours of its release,Unplanned shot up to the #8 bestseller on Amazon and #3 at Barnes & Noble.
