PHOTO: A Mother Sobs on Shoulder of Advocate — and FINAL CALL!

Dear Friend of Life:

Rarely does a picture express the heart of a ministry… but this one, below, does it in spades!

We hear from the other side: You are only pro-birth. You don’t care about the mother, especially after birth.

What I’m most proud of is that Sidewalk Advocates are truly a countersign to that charge.  We are proud to LOVE THEM BOTH.  We have a passion not just for saving children, but serving mothers, too.

The irony when it comes to helping save preborn children is that we cannot separate mother from child.  The abortion industry is already working to do that!  Instead, we find that when we love mom and meet her needs, baby often comes right along with her.

Here’s one of my most favorite stories that demonstrates this, told in the pictures, below…

A mother in the Midwest was headed to the abortion facility and had a plan to avoid anyone on the sidewalk: She was determined to rush in there, get this done, and go on with her life.

But when she arrived, she was captivated by the smile and warmth of our Sidewalk Advocate peeking out of her heavy winter wear.  Her kindness and simple offer of help melted her plan …AND SHE CHOSE LIFE!

Fast forward to 10 days after she gave birth… Our Sidewalk Advocates at this location — with three of our National Team members in tow — gathered together, planning to surprise this Sidewalk Advocate with the presence of mom and baby.  And boy, was she surprised!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when they were reunited, and everyone took turns holding 10-day old baby Ma’liyah!

But perhaps the most precious moment was when mom took a moment to thank the Sidewalk Advocate who had saved her and her daughter from abortion…

To me, this picture of mom is the epitome of what it means to be a part of this ministry.  This mother was so well served, so grateful, that she couldn’t help but sob, from the depths of her soul, her thanks.

And now, I pass that deep thanks onto you: Thank you for making this moment possible!  Thank you for hanging with us through the ups and downs of a financial campaign during a pandemic …for giving what you can so that we, by God’s grace, can continue strong and celebrate more incredible, eternity-changing moments like this.  Truly, we cannot do this without God working through YOU!

Amazing to think that this is just one of nearly 12,000 victory stories where a Sidewalk Advocate was able to speak peace and hope into a mother’s situation, and she couldn’t help but choose life.

Knowing the power of this presence, we are working to cover every uncovered abortion center in the country with peaceful, loving Sidewalk Advocates who can offer real help and hope to hurting mothers every hour of the abortion business.  Together, we can reach thousands more women, save thousands more children, and impact eternity for countless souls.

In our Fall Matching Fund Campaign, dedicated to this valiant goal — with just hours to go until the FINAL deadline tonight at 11:59 PM CST  we are still $32,631 short.  We surely don’t want to leave any of this generosity sitting on the table!  Can you help with your most generous gift right now?

If you’ve already given, truly, a huge THANK YOU!  But if you have a little more to spare, there’s no doubt it would give us a much-needed boost at this critical hour.

Thank you for helping make miracles possible. Trusting God with the next several hours and believing for a miraculous closing to the campaign for His Glory!

In His Love, for Life,
