VIDEO: What will YOU do this year?

Dear Friend of Life:

Today, on January 22nd, the anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that imposed abortion on demand on all 50 states, WE REMEMBER.

We remember the 63 million children lost to abortion and the mothers and families impacted by so-called “safe and legal choice.”

But we also remember how God’s people have responded to the crisis of abortion, and by His grace, given our country and the world HOPE!  Over the last several years, we’ve seen…

  • an increase in state legislation protecting mothers and preborn children, saving countless lives
  • record numbers of women choosing life at abortion centers (as you’ve helped Sidewalk Advocates for Life grow to cover more facilities, we’re helping more abortion-minded mothers than ever before!)
  • an increase in life-affirming pregnancy resource centers opening, now outnumbering abortion centers more than 4 to 1
  • record numbers of workers leaving the business and finding hope and healing (thanks especially to our partner ministry, And Then There Were None)
  • record numbers of abortion facilities closing, thanks to an increase in prayer and outreach on the sidewalk

…and more!

Still, we know that in the wake of radical, pro-abortion policy changes proposed by the new Biden administration, those of us in the pro-life movement are greatly troubled.

The big question many are asking is this: WHAT CAN I DO?

Our answer to that is found in a great pro-life hero who passed away earlier this week, Joe Scheidler.

Joe, affectionately known throughout the movement as the “Godfather of pro-life activism,” is the founder of Pro-Life Action League and the co-founder of the “Chicago Method” of sidewalk counseling. He was one of the greatest developers of the ministry that we do day in and day out. Indeed, we wouldn’t be where we are today without his wisdom.

The morning of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Joe Scheidler passed away at age 93.

We often say that we won’t truly know this side of heaven just how many lives we’ve helped save, but we already know of tens of thousands of lives that have been saved thanks to Joe’s YES and the sidewalk outreach movement he helped to build.

Joe taught us that there’s a place for everyone in the greatest human rights movement on earth  and that it’s important to pray, listen, respond, and give your all to whatever God asks you to do.

Enjoy this quick video — featuring Joe and Ann Scheidler — recorded at the March for Life a couple years ago, regarding how YOU can find yourself in this beautiful mosaic for LIFE that is saving lives and gradually ENDING ABORTION…

Joe is one of the biggest reasons why we’re giving our all to covering every single uncovered abortion facility in America as soon as possible with peaceful, loving Sidewalk Advocates every hour of business!

All in all, Joe Scheidler’s legacy is a testament to what God can do when we ask, what can I do?

May we follow in his valiant footsteps!  And may God bless you today and in the days to come as YOU take the next right step for the cause of LIFE.

Blessings in Christ,
