When we answer the call…

By God’s grace and with the cooperation of active prayer and sidewalk advocacy, another abortion facility has CLOSED!

When our Sidewalk Advocate, Nicola, went to the March for Life in 2020, she felt God leading her to the the sidewalk at the abortion center back home.

Teaming up with the local 40 Days for Life campaign, Nicola served as program leader for the Sidewalk Advocates for Life location in Kent, WA, coming to the sidewalk every week between March and October. “It was all an act of obeying God’s call,” she said confidently. “I 100% attribute everything that happened there to Him.”

Nicola and her team of Sidewalk Advocates were able to reach out to an abortion worker and refer several mothers to local pregnancy resource centers. “The work is entirely God’s. He called me and so many others to the sidewalk.”

After leading this fruitful ministry, Nicola and her family were set to relocate out of state. Just before she moved, Nicola received the amazing news that the Kent facility had closed!

“Almost every time I went there, there were fewer and fewer people,” Nicola observed. The last time, she went while the center was open to meet a fellow Sidewalk Advocate during what were usually peak business hours. “I looked and saw there was hardly anyone there at all. It was such a victory.”

Nicola smiled, “When the people of God come together, anything’s possible.”

“The biggest takeaway for me,” Nicola said humbly, “is that, yes, I was involved, but I was just responding to God’s call. Coming together with 40 Days for Life and other people who just wanted to pray; we were there as the body of Christ.”
