I remember the first time that I heard this question — and the answer impacted me greatly:
Question: When did Jesus come into the world? Was it when he was born?
Answer: No …in reality, he entered Mary’s womb as an embryo.
Wow. What a profound thought — that the God of the Universe, Our Lord and Savior, chose to enter this world as a tiny embryo.
What humility. And for our day and age …what a lesson.
In reality, as life starts at conception, everything about Christ’s physical makeup was already known at that very moment. The Father had a plan for his life, and of course, knew him intimately at that stage in the womb.
We, too, enter this world as tiny embryos. We are unlike any life that has been or will ever be. At that moment, we are boy or girl, with a unique combination of physical characteristics …and God knows us. He has a plan for our lives. And he sees us and affirms that what He has made is wonderful, indeed.
How would life be different without Christ? I shudder to imagine. Our chance at knowing true love and eternal life itself …gone. Praise God for the gift of His Son.
Think of one of your most favorite people and how God has uniquely made them — maybe it’s a spouse, a parent, a sibling, a friend, or even a co-worker. Then, try to imagine how your life would be different without them.
You see, we at Sidewalk Advocates for Life believe that every human life is precious from the moment of conception. We believe that God knew us before we were born, gave us the gift of life, and had a plan for our lives.Today, that reality has been lost on a culture that puts convenience and “choice” ahead of the gift of life, believing that what has been tossed aside was really nothing special at all. Yes, perhaps there were terrible pressures that led a young woman to the abortion facility, but again, it was the culture that lied to her and told her that this was a mere “blob of tissue” that could be “taken care of” for $500. In reality, we know that somewhere, deep down in her heart, she knew otherwise.
We find that the greatest mission field is not in some other country, but often, at the abortion center in our town or city, right where we live, work and play. Women often ask sidewalk counselors — is there a God? Does he love me? Is this a baby? Does He have a plan for my baby? And at that very critical moment, we are able to reach out in love and say: YES! Let us help you!
We know that the Lord has called us to a very special mission: to peacefully reach out to abortion-bound mothers and fathers, letting them know that they were wonderfully and fearfully made by a loving God who has a plan for their lives, as well as for the life of their child.
Our method is very woman-oriented: she must first know that we love and care for her, and once we identify what brought her to the abortion center, we can fill that need, and the baby will come right along with her! This method of filling the need and reaching a mother’s heart has documented thousands upon thousands of saves in communities across the country where it is utilized.
But …here is where I need your help!
I am coming to you humbly — at a time when, I know, you are pulled in so many different directions. But I really do desperately need your help.
We are ready to roll this training out across the country (with International requests coming in, as well!), and we want to be able to train as many sidewalk advocates as possible in every local community that needs training, tools, technology and on-going support to sustain a long-term sidewalk advocacy program! In short, we want to be there to stand in the gap for those who want to help save lives and impact eternal souls, so that they can stand in the gap for those women who feel like abortion may be their only option.
Brothers & sisters, right now, we have a large shortfall that we need to make up to pay for the remaining videos that will train advocates in local communities. Can you help us? Any donation — $25, $50, $100, $500 — will be a HUGE blessing! Please make your tax-deductible gift to Sidewalk Advocates for Life here: https://
If you can, please consider getting behind us so that we can be sure that every uncovered abortion facility in the country has two sidewalk advocates every hour that the facility is open! Can you imagine the impact? There’s NO LIMIT to what God can do when we say “YES!” to Him!
Again, I thank you so much ahead of time for your prayers and your financial support — we cannot accomplish this great mission without you!Again, please make your tax-deductible gift to Sidewalk Advocates for Life here: https://
And from the bottom of my heart… THANK YOU!
Merry Christmas!
